     Meet Apostle Samuel Jones, Pastor/Founder/Overseer of Lay Claim International Ministries, located in the city of Shreveport is illuminating with the spirit and truth of God’s Word.  Apostle was born the second of six siblings in Texarkana, Arkansas.  At the age 13 he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost under the leadership of the late Pastor Jean Soil of House of Prayer Apostolic Church in Texarkana,Texas.  At the age of 15 he was licensed by Pastor Irene Clark in Las Vegas and accepted God’s call to minister to the nations.  After going through many battles, God has given him the spiritual DNA to break strongholds over nations through proclaiming His Word from the position of the Throne Room, high above all principalities through intercession and worship.  Divine impartation flows through Apostle Samuel Jones through the gift of prophecy, laying of hands, and the Word of deliverance. He was also licensed at the age of 20 while under the leadership of the late Bishop Fines Jobe of Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Texarkana, TX.  Being spiritually led, Apostle Samuel Jones moved to Richmond, California in 1991 where he established Lay Claim International Ministries, a multi-cultural, nondenominational church.  It started as a small Bible Study group.  After a year of development in California, the ministry then spread to St. Louis, Missouri.  The ministry began to grow rapidly and experience a surge of greater dimensions in St. Louis, Missouri, as a prophetic move of God was launched.  During this time he also served as co-pastor of Power of God Apostolic Church in which he was under the leadership of Bishop Wendell Cox, Sr.  Apostle Samuel Jones’ years of service and spiritual development led to his call to be ordained as a Bishop by Bishop Wendell Cox.  The ministry is mainly know for its care and commitment to the preaching & teaching of Jesus Christ as the manifested word of God.  After many years of obedience and service to God, the Lord gave him an apostolic call.  The spirit of the Lord then led Apostle Samuel Jones to establish a new location in the city of Shreveport, Louisiana on January 18, 2009.  This apostolic, prophetic ministry has been known for the development of leaders in other cities. His radical preaching & teaching style contain inspired insights allowing the message to penetrate the heart of man.  Apostle Samuel Jones lives with his wife, Co-Pastor Angelia Jones in the city of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is currently the 2nd Assistant Presiding Prelate  of the International Bishop Conference & Ministries Fellowship.
